The Beach Shop & Grill
The Beach Shop and Grill is a casual fine dining establishment in Topsail Beach, North Carolina. We offer New-American cuisine emphasizing locally and regionally sourced organic ingredients from high-quality, small farmers and purveyors. Our ever-evolving menu, paired with our award-winning wine program and craft cocktail selection, perfectly complements our desire to provide a memorable dining experience for our guests.
The restaurant began as Warren’s Soda Shop in 1952, serving hotdogs, hamburgers, and orangeades. In the early 1970s, Warren’s was renamed “Beach Shop & Grill,” with the addition of a beach retail store. The current owner, Cheryl Price, and vital contributions from others have made it what it is today.

The Patio features its own cocktail bar with a menu of small plates and raw seafood to enjoy while listening to live music under the palm trees just steps away from the ocean. Seating is first come, first served.

Meet the Owner
Cheryl Price
Born and raised in North Carolina, Cheryl has more than 30 years in the culinary and service industry. After graduating from Wake Forest University, she completed culinary school at Johnson and Wales in Charleston, SC. She then worked in several five star hotels and resorts before returning to North Carolina to open up her own bakery cafe. In March of 2002, Cheryl and her husband, Jeff Price, purchased the Beach Shop & Grill with the intention of creating a dining destination on the coast of North Carolina.
Over the years, Cheryl has essentially made the restaurant what it is today – a casual fine dining establishment featuring an ever-evolving New American Cuisine menu and an award-winning wine program for nine consecutive years from Wine Spectator. She enjoys traveling to experience foodservice and hospitality in other cultures in order to provide the best dining experience possible for her guests.
In her spare time, Cheryl volunteers for Bullies 2 The Rescue.

Jordan Keen
Over the years, Jordan has become a decorated chef by winning awards, including the Wright Chef, competitions, and being featured in several publications across the country. Chef Jordan Keen now calls Topsail Beach, North Carolina, his home, as the Executive Chef of the Beach Shop & Grill, where he focuses on using seasonal and local ingredients and sourced gourmet products from around the country to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
